Your function
As a Business Development Specialist you are responsible for:
Sales, marketing and generate profit according the agreed business plan in EMEA.
Report and assistance to the Business Manager EMEA to set up the sales budget and action planning.
Collection, analyse and report market information to develop the marketing strategy.
Provide strategic guidance to technical teams, customers, and agents to identify new market opportunities and maximize sales outcomes
Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and product management teams to develop customer-specific solutions and convert new business opportunities.
Promoting the technical and commercial advantages of Kaneka MS Polymer technology.
Represent Kaneka at industry events, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
Your profile
Master in Science (Preferably in Chemistry) and Business master degree (optional) or equivalent through experience.
Strong background in chemistry, Polymers and related application.
Experience in business development or sales, especially in speciality chemicals, adhesives, sealants, polymers, construction chemicals or related industries.
Strong understanding of the construction, industrial, automotive or manufacturing market.
Ability to engage both commercially and technically with customers across R&D, purchasing, production, and management functions.
Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work within a team
Strong knowledge of English (additional EU languages are an advantage)
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively (30-50%) within the assigned territory.
